Jaisalmer – The land of the Golden Fortress.

Jaisalmer is a city of Golden Fort in the heart of the Thar Desert. In 1156, the Bhatti Rajput Rawal Jaisal of the Yadav dynasty removed the capital from Lodhurba and established it here. How to reach

By Air – Jaisalmer Airport is a military airport and supports only chartered flights, hence it is sparingly used by travelers. Jodhpur Airport is the closest domestic airport to Jaisalmer. Mejor cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Udaipur have regular flights to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is approximately a 5 to 6 hours’ drive from Jaisalmer.
